I had some down time while waiting for parts, so I decided to make use of my time and clean up the CL a little bit. It's been crazy hot, so I rolled the bike into my den and went to town. It didn't take long to reduce things to a pile of parts.





After a bit of cleaning and spray bomb action, the CL was ready to start reassembling.





In the mean time, I picked up a set of old tunable cocktail shakers to replace the rotten stock mufflers. They were a bit crusty, but a few minutes of polishing made them almost presentable. I still may ended up painting them.



I'm hoping to button up the motor this weekend, so I can start hammering out the finer details soon.
